Weight Loss tips for Valentines Day

I recently asked registered dietitian and author Jayson Hunter for some easy tips to prevent you from on Valentine’s Day.
As you know, many people go out to dinner to celebrate with a loved one. And while it’s more than ok to have some fun, you need to be make certain you remember your weight loss goals.
Here is Hunter’s advice:
Tip #1 - Make certain you exercise that day.
Think that’s obvious? Well, Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, so there’s a good chance you’ll just be sitting around all day doing nothing.
Don’t let that be you. Make sure you get out and get at least a walk in.
Tip #2 - Start your day by drinking 2 large cups of water. Then drink 1-2 cups before each meal.
This will go a LONG way in helping prevent you from eating way more calories than you need.
Plus, it’ll just plain help you stay hydrated. And when your body isn’t hydrated you are NOT burning fat at optimal levels!
Tip #3 - Do NOT skip meals. Some people go to dinner starving to “make the most” of their big night out. And that is a BIG mistake.
Eating small, nutritious meals throughout the day will prevent you from packing on the pounds at dinner.
